P: 59g F: 10g C: 40g
Ingredients
300g beef stir steak strips- I got mine from Asda 450g pack. The rest I cooked and used for a lunch time wrap filler
20g cornflour
60ml light soya sauce
60g sweet chilli sauce (Blue Dragon)
7g garlic purée
1tsp onion granules
1tsp chilli flakes - I used birds eye flakes 🔥 but in a good way
20g clear honey
Method
Prep your beef
To a bowl add beef, corn flour and a splash of your soya sauce. Coat beef well. Season with salt and pepper. Allow to marinade for 30 mins if you can or longer.
Making your sauce
In a bowl add reminding soya sauce, sweet chilli sauce, honey, garlic purée, onion granules and mix well.
Slice mushrooms and pepper finely.
In a large pan cooked beef Strips on a biggish heat for a couple of mins each side. Don’t over cook as the meat will go tough. I used 1kcal as my oil. I also cooked in two batches so the pan wasn’t over crowded.
Once all your beef is cooked set it aside.
Clean pan.
And stir fry your veggies. For a few mins. Add beef back in. And then pour in your sauce. Cook for a few mins to heat the sauce through and serve!
I served mine with cauliflower rice but you could serve with noodles, egg fried rice, sticky rice etc.
