Honey BBQ Crispy Chicken

I’m so pleased with how this turned out. And we will most definitely be having it again.


Easy to prep and pop in the oven and let it do it thing while you get on with other stuff!

Ingredients


For crispy chicken


  • 2 x chicken breast 170g each

  • 50g cornflakes

  • 1 tsp garlic granules

  • 1 tsp onion granules

  • 1 medium egg

  • 1tsp smoked paprika

  • Seasoning- salt and pepper


For the sauce


  • 10ml sriracha sauce

  • 55g bbq sauce (I used Reds Unholy BBQ sauce)

  • 20g honey

  • 1 tsp chilli flakes


Method


For chicken


In a food bag add corn cornflakes, garlic granules, onion granules, smoked paprika and salt and pepper then crush with your hands. Then pour into a bowl.


In another bowl beat your egg.


Dip your chicken into the egg mix and the the cornflake mix.


Pop on your grill tray (do not put on a flat baking tray as one side will be soggy) your grill tray allows all sides to get nice and crispy.


Bake for 25 mins.


For the sauce


Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix.


That’s it.


When your chicken is cooked top it with your sauce and serve! Yummmy!!!
